It all started by chance—a simple gift. My cousin gave me a watch he no longer wore, an older-generation Citizen. It had stopped working, and I thought, "Why not try to fix it?"

What began as a small repair project turned into a true revelation. While fixing the watch, I realized that every detail could be modified, from the crown to the dial and even the hands. With my passion for craftsmanship and precision, I found the same satisfaction I had always felt working in the automotive industry—the need for meticulousness, precision, and the joy of perfecting every detail. As I replaced each part of the watch, I knew: This is something I want to keep doing.

And that’s how the idea for Watch Mod was born.

When the pandemic disrupted my plans for in-person workshops, it didn’t affect my determination. I converted a space at home (to my partner’s delight), invested in professional equipment, and fully immersed myself in watch customization. That moment was a turning point. I had always loved watches, and customization became a way to fully embrace my passion.

Watch Mod is more than just a business—it’s a part of me. I am patient, meticulous, and passionate about the small details that most people overlook. Every watch I customize takes hours of fine-tuning, refining elements that may be invisible but make all the difference. This pursuit of perfection drives me because I want to offer every customer more than just a product—I want to provide a unique experience.

Over time, I honed my skills through self-learning and guidance from watchmaker friends working for a prestigious Swiss brand. I refined my expertise, developed my own style, and found my creative direction.

Today, Watch Mod is a family business. My partner has joined me on this journey—she left everything behind to take charge of customer relations, marketing, and administration. If you contact us, she’ll be the one responding.
